Press accreditation for Singapore events is handled case by case — include outlet name, reporter legal name, and hearth you intend to cover. We do not guarantee access to the upstairs room; interviews on the five-foot way are common.
1Who operates News Forge Spark?
News Forge Spark Pte. Ltd., publishing from 13 Emerald Hill Road, #02-01, Singapore 229297. The desk is independent; ownership details, funding posture, and disclaimers are on The House. We are a Singapore-hosted news portal — not a wire service, not a social feed, and not an aggregator of unchecked rumours.
2What are the six hearths?
City and transport; housing and neighbourhoods; work and livelihood; health and care; weather and water; culture and heritage. Each hearth has a lead reporter and published scope. 3What are the four casts?
The noon pour (~12:00 SGT), evening ingot (~18:00 SGT), context plate (scheduled independently), and Sunday file (12:00–18:00 SGT on Sundays). Casts are editorial containers with fixed verification standards — not payment tiers. Release windows and assignment rules are on The Cast.
4What is the quench?
Six verification steps: tip logged, second source, document check, right of reply, bench proof, cast release. Skipping a step means hold or decline — not partial publication. Full detail with waiver policy is on The Quench.
5How do I report an error?

6Do you accept anonymous tips?
Tips may arrive anonymously, but we do not publish uncorroborated anonymous allegations. The quench requires a second source and document check where documents exist. Anonymous tips help us know where to look; they do not by themselves justify publication.
7How are photographs sourced?
Field capture by reporters, licensed partner frames with documented permission, or labelled agency handouts. We do not scrape social media. Credit, alt text, and bench proof standards are on The Lens. Uncredited frames are held or deleted per desk policy.
8What cookies does the site use?
Essential consent storage in cookie nfs_consent_v18 (180 days) and optional functional cookies for Google Maps embeds when you consent. Analytics cookies are off by default and not deployed. Manage preferences via the banner or the Manage cookies button on Cookies.
9What are desk hours?

10Is content paywalled?
